There are certain side effects which may arise due to the
prescription of the Amantadin Symmetrel drug and some of them are
allergic reactions, hives, difficulty in breathing, swelling of
lips, face, throat etc. Feeling short of breath even with a mild

Certain patients having treatments using the Amantadin Symmetrel
drug may suffer with drowsiness, headache, and dizziness which may
leads to serious health problems. Taking the Amantadin Symmetrel
drug along with certain other drugs such as atropine, dicyclomine,
mepenzolate, propantheline etc will sometimes result in serious side
effects. The patient should not start a new medication along with
the Amantadin Symmetrel medicines without consulting his doctor.
Several central nervous system side effects may arise due to the
over dosage and regular usage of the medicine and the major reason
for this side effect is the dopaminergic and adrenergic activity of
the medicine. CNS side effects anxiety, agitation, difficulty in
exacerbations and concentrating, insomnia and nervousness are the
major side effects faced by patients with schizophrenia and
Parkinson disease.
